My name is Gal Romano.
Gal means a wave in the sea in Hebrew. I was born in Tel-Aviv, Israel and I grew up there.
I made a lot of experiences in my home country: Working in a summer camp, in kindergarten and in the emergency medical service. I did the military service for two years, working as a social worker.
I started learning German in Israel, then continued in the beautiful city Freiburg. In Germany I also did a voluntary service in the clinic and worked in a crèche.
I completed my midwifery training in Freiburg in 2018. After that I worked for a year as a midwife in the delivery room at Marienhospital Darmstadt. Since July 2019 I work as an independent midwife and offer prenatal care and postpartum care.
My family in Germany includes Grey and Bailey, my loving, active cats. My hobbies include drums, tap dancing and swimming. With me you can speak fluently German, Spanish, English and Hebrew. I will also get along with French.
Important values for me are working on an equal footing with families and the individual care for every mother and every child.
I look forward to meet you!
Gal
